FAQ

Common questions

Do I need to bring a urine sample?

Not usually — the NHS pathway is based on your symptoms. We'll tell you if a sample or a GP review is needed.

Can men or children use this service?

Not under Pharmacy First. UTIs in men, children, and pregnant women need a GP assessment — we'll signpost you straight away.

Is the consultation private?

Yes, always. We use a closed consultation room, not the shop floor.

How quickly can I be seen?

Usually same day. Walk in during opening hours or book a slot online.
