About Acorn Pharmacy Huntingdon

Our story

Personal, private healthcare

Today, Acorn Pharmacy continues to be a family-run pharmacy based in Huntingdon, filling a gap in the community health sector for affordable and convenient choices without compromising the quality of care and putting patients at the heart of all that we do.

Our primary objective is to help patients take control of their health. We give you the opportunity to take control by giving you clear information about your current health status. We inspire you to make correct decisions to live healthier and happier.

Hospital development

Seamless care, from clinic to hospital

The affiliation between Acorn Pharmacy and the newly built Hamptons Hospital means that our clients can benefit from a seamless and transparent health service from the Advanced Clinical Pharmacist service right through to the consultant’s room and into the operating theatre if needed. This means NO waiting lists, NO delayed appointments, NO delayed treatment.

The Hamptons Hospital has been opened to give the Peterborough area much-needed additional capacity, offering more health treatment options to local residents. A percentage of the hospital’s capacity has been handed to the NHS to help the region relieve pressure on waiting lists and get through the backlog more quickly.

The hospital offers a full radiology suite for X-rays, MRIs, Ultrasound, and CT scans. It is equipped with two full operating theatres, an endoscopy suite, and a dedicated cosmetic surgery unit.
